System Water Flow (Gallons per Minute):
Desired Inlet Water Temperature (Water entering the Tower): Inlet Water Temperature cannot exceed 115 Degrees Fahrenheit
Desired Outlet Water Temperature (Water leaving the Tower): Temperature range must be between 5 and 25 Degrees Fahrenheit
Design Wet-Bulb Temperature: Minimum approach temperature 6°F (Outlet Temp-Wet Bulb).

System Load in BTU's per Hour:

Whenever possible calculate actual values as follows:

Load in btu/hr = (range x gpm) x 500
Cooling Range = (btu load/gpm)/500
GPM = (btu load/range)/500
Cooling Range = (inlet to tower - desired outlet)

bhp = Brakehorse power
gpm = Gallons per minute
500 = 8.33lb/gal x 60 minutes
1 ton = 15,000 btu/hr
