      Inlet Water Temperature cannot exceed 115 Degrees Fahrenheit
    • Desired Outlet Water Temperature (Water leaving the Tower):
      Temperature range must be between 5 and 25 Degrees Fahrenheit
    • Design Wet-Bulb Temperature:
      Minimum approach temperature 6°F (Outlet Temp-Wet Bulb)
    • System Load in BTU's per Hour:

    Calculating Values



    Load in btu/hr = (range x gpm) x 500
    Cooling Range = (btu load / gpm) / 500
    GPM = (btu load / range)/500
    Cooling Range = (inlet to tower - desired outlet)
    BHP = Brake Horse Power
    GPM = Gallons per Minute
    500 = 8.33 lb /gal x 60 minutes
    1 Ton = 15,000 btu/hr
